Your go to source for all things Naperville!

Good morning Naperville! Fun fact: Naperville was founded in 1831 by Joseph Naper, back then it was called Naper’s Settlement and by 1832 had over 100 people living here. Safe to say we’ve grown a bit since then.
In this weeks Niche…
Naperville capital budget planning
Pink Saree 5K (free health screenings for women available)
Fall festival at Danada
Here we go!
📰 The Digest
📈 Naperville tax dollars are putting in the work. Naperville officials have proposed a $190 Million dollar capital budget for 2026. The years theme to underscore the cities priorities is “money with a mission”. Priority investments include water and electric utility improvements as well as transportation investments. More details on past and upcoming capital budgets from the city here.
🏐 Naperville Central girls volleyball edged out Metea Valley in a thrilling match at home. After the Redhawks took the opening set 25-20 and the Mustangs rallied to win the second 25-22, Central regained control in the decisive third, closing it out 25-19 behind strong performances from Caroline Impey, Annabelle Kritzer and Sophia Svingen. The victory marks another solid home win for the Redhawks after defeating DeKalb earlier in the week.
