📰 The Digest

🚒 Sometimes it’s the little things that add up to make a city special. Naperville’s Public Works Fleet Services Division has been ranked No. 6 in the National Association of Fleet Administrators’ 100 Best Fleets in the Americas list, marking the city’s highest placement ever. The recognition highlights excellence in areas like technology use, financial management, staff development, and operational efficiency. Naperville’s fleet services team has now earned a spot in the top 100 rankings for 13 consecutive years.

👽️ Waubonsie Valley High School has officially introduced its new mascot, “Ovee,” a green, horned character created to celebrate the school’s 50th anniversary. The new mascot builds on the school’s Warrior tradition with a fresh look designed for a new era of school spirit. Ovee recently made a surprise appearance at prom and is expected to become a regular part of events and activities beginning this fall. Students will also have the opportunity to audition for the secret mascot role ahead of the new school year.
